Gartenhotel's TRAVEL INSURANCE

Our travel insurance applies if you are unable to take your break or have to cut it short – for example in the event of:

• sudden serious illness, accident or death
• serious health issues or the loss of a close family member
• pregnancy or unforeseen complications
• significant damage to your home, for example due to fire or other external influences, requiring your presence
• conscription into military or civilian service, provided that it is not possible to postpone the trip
• loss of employment through no fault of your own due to dismissal
• filing for divorce before a jointly planned trip
• failing an important exam shortly before departure
• an unexpected court summons that cannot be postponed

We ask that medical reasons be confirmed with a doctor's certificate. Pre-existing conditions are covered if they become acute unexpectedly. We require written confirmation for all of the above cases.

The cover applies to the insured guest, their family members and up to three additional persons if they have booked together. Family members include spouses (or partners living in the same household), children (stepchildren, children-in-law, grandchildren), parents (step-parents, parents-in-law, grandparents) and siblings of the insured person.

8 euros per room per day is sufficient to cover the costs incurred. We deliberately do not want to charge more than this – it is fair, transparent and in the spirit of good cooperation.
