Wine highlights

Visitors to the South Tyrol Wine Museum in Kaltern set off on a voyage of discovery about wine. This museum, located in the heart of South Tyrol's wine country, gives you an insight into the history of wine. You can see machines involved in the winemaking process and tools used by coopers, as well as many other items. In addition, you will find both glass and ceramic vessels, plus an exhibition of vine knives, which have developed from a simple work tool to a symbol of wine production. Various varieties of grapes growing in the museum's wine garden can be sampled in fall.
