Vineyards & orchards
The Moser family manages a total of 13 hectares of orchards and vineyards. The following are some of the varieties of vines cultivated in the vineyards in Montiggl/Eppan:
- Gewürztraminer
- Riesling
- Sauvignon
- Chardonnay
- Weißburgunder
- Pinot Grigio
The wine harvest is delivered to the St. Michael/Eppan and Girlan wine cellars. The areas cultivated by the Moser family are some of the best in the southern South Tyrol and their harvests are used for production of the most well-known wines.
Alongside vines, various sorts of apple are also cultivated. These include:
- Golden Delicious
- Braeburn
- Gala Royal
- Fuji
In the hotel garden, several Kaiser Alexander pear trees are also grown.
